I tried viewing the "installed updates" in control panel as well, but there's so few updates, no driver update, and most of them are just security updates. I looked at the update history but there's not a single lenovo update here except the 50 instances of "Lenovo extension" update. Then run Windows Update again - if it detects the driver again, it will re-apply the newest driver available on Microsoft end: Update Windows 10 () We may need to remove that Update and reboot. Depending on how you reinstalled Windows, it may or may not still be there. If you type 'history' into the Windows 10 search bar, look at your Update History and see if it still shows the November update for the Intel HD 3000 driver. Now I'm stuck with Windows Basic Display Adapter which can't play any games or use heavy software from Adobe. My laptop used to have "Intel HD Graphics 3000" on my original installation of Windows 10, but after some time (and updates?) the laptop always crashes so I have to restart it for about two times before I use system restore to revert the changes until I reinstalled windows 10 and disabled automatic driver installation using a bootable flash drive. Ever since I reinstalled Windows 10 (20H2 19042.804) on my laptop because of the same problem, my computer keep crashing like this whenever the graphics driver is installed, similar to the image below.
